We are currently looking for a Behavioral Health Clinician III (BHC III) (Mental Health Counselor) with a passion for human services. Compensation:
New hires for this position typically start between $29.12 and $38.83 hourly, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors.

What you'll do
The Behavioral Health Clinician III provides quality counseling, case management, education and community support services to clients with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and/or co-occurring disorders using evidence-based and promising practices

Master's Degree in mental health, behavioral health, or related human services field with curriculum related to counseling and psychology.
Must possess a current mental health associate's license (i.e., LMHCA, LMFTA, LSWAA, LSWAIC) or be a Mental Health Professional and an Agency Affiliated Counselor
Mental Health Professional (MHP) criteria in Washington state:
A psychiatrist, psychologist, psychiatric nurse, or social worker as defined in chapters 71.05 RCW and 71.34 RCW
A person who is licensed by the Department of Health as a Mental Health Counselor, Mental Health Counselor Associate, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
A person who is registered by the Department of Health as an Agency Affiliated Counselor who has a master's degree or further advanced degree in counseling or one of the social sciences from an accredited college or university. In addition, at least two years of experience in direct treatment of person(s) with mental illness or emotional disturbance, such experience gained under the supervision of a mental health professional recognized by the department or attested to by the licensed behavioral health agency.
Must be able to obtain & maintain AAC credential within 60 days of hire - per WAC requirements.
"Agency affiliated counselor" means a person registered under chapter 18.19.210 RCW, who is engaged in counseling and employed by an agency listed in WAC 246-810-016 or an agency recognized under WAC 246-810-017 to provide a specific counseling service or services.
Must submit an AAC application in the initial 30 days of employment & complete any follow-up correspondence as requested by DOH to obtain approval
Employees who operate their own or PHS vehicles on PHS business, must have a safe driving record as defined by PHS.
Employees who operate their own vehicle(s) on PHS business must carry auto liability insurance that complies with the requirements of PHS.
Must satisfactorily pass tuberculosis (TB) test
