Job Description
GENERAL OVERVIEW Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Provides individual group and family therapy with assigned patients. • Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients. • Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g., treatment plans, progress notes). • Attends all required departmental and hospital meetings. • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum • Masters degree in a relevant field • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license • CPR - American Heart Association • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate • Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance (preferred) • Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting (preferred)
