Center for Human Development Inc. is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor to provide direct clinical supervision of designated services in one or more health service areas. Works under the general supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health. Supervises clinical staff working towards LPC or LCSW licensure and provides consultation training and technical assistance to clinical staff. The Clinical Supervisor will work with the Admin Council to ensure the quality of clinical services delivered by CHD behavioral health staff.

Essential Functions

  • Monitors licensure and certification requirements, supervises clinical practice.
  • Holds staff accountable for performance measures, including but not limited to productivity, timely documentation of clinical services, compliance with Medicaid and other regulatory and funding authorities, etc.
  • Responsible for client service delivery, develops and implements new services, complies with payer requirements, develops and implements service productivity policies and procedures, determines caseload and service coverages, schedules.
  • Responsible for quality initiative, coordinates utilization review and management, coordinates clinical chart audits, conducts service evaluation, implements service improvements.
  • Acts as liaison to Administrative Council, provides clinical knowledge and expertise, and proposes policy and practice.
  • Provides community interface with other organizations and agencies regarding specific client cases.
  • Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Works independently and within a self-managed team environment.
  • Must maintain punctual and regular work attendance.

The Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC) for at least 2 years preferred.
  • Three years of experience in a comparable position dedicated to quality health improvement in a managed care organization or provider group or governmental agency or similar setting preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in dual diagnosis treatment or substance use disorder.
  • CADCII or III, or must possess a CADCI and must receive a CADCIII within two years of hire.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve.
  • Ability to manage individuals and teams through coaching, mentoring, training, and delegation.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • QMHPs must be credentialed as a mental health investigator or willing to pursue credentialing.
  • Must possess a valid Oregon Drivers license and be insurable for client service purposes, travel between business offices and to attend required meetings and/or trainings.
  • Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200-407-007-0370 and drug screening.
