Job Title- Behavioral Data Acquisition Technician

Summary

Client is seeking a Behavioral Data Acquisition Technician to support the collection and labeling of pet behavioral data used in AI and connected pet products. This role involves reviewing and labeling pet behavior from video footage, organizing sensor data, and supporting research initiatives focused on pet health and wellness.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in research labs, behavioral studies, or animal-related environments, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage large amounts of data accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Label and code pet behaviors from recorded videos
  • Align behavioral observations with sensor and time-series data
  • Support data collection activities for connected pet products
  • Work collaboratively with research, technical, and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Zoology, Psychology, Animal Science, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in behavioral research or data collection
  • Experience with behavioral coding tools such as Noldus, Mangold, Excel, or similar software preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
