Position Overview

Flywheel Centers is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to children with autism across home, school, and center-based settings in Middlesex County, NJ (Edison, Woodbridge, Perth Amboy, Carteret, Colonia, South Amboy). This flexible, per diem role is ideal for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining control over their schedule.

As a Behavior Technician, you will deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the guidance of a supervising Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your work will help children improve behaviors that interfere with daily living and support the development of key life skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in home, school, or center-based settings
• Follow individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA
• Collect and record data accurately during each session
• Participate in clinical supervision
• Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, and team members
• Maintain ethical and professional standards at all times

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute within Middlesex County
• Previous ABA experience preferred; RBT certification a plus but not required
• Must be comfortable working independently and within a team

Work Location

In-person role with travel throughout Middlesex County, NJ
