The Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our clinic team in Colonial Heights, VA. This role is ideal for candidates who value a structured weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to work one-on-one with children in a clinic setting.
This is a full-time, clinic-based position offering predictable daytime hours and the ability to build a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). No prior ABA experience is required—paid training is provided.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation:
$18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in a clinic setting
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development
Collect and record behavioral data accurately
Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
Collaborate with supervising clinicians and caregivers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with children preferred
Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or behavioral health is a plus
Reliable transportation required
Professional, dependable, and compassionate
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to pass required background checks
