Job Overview
The Specialist, Beauty Education & Training inspires teams and elevates the customer experience by driving Macy's Beauty Education Program and executing Selling and Service Standards at the highest level. This leader supports stores and colleagues by fostering a deep understanding of the products we carry and how to service the customer. As a skilled communicator with a passion for the beauty industry, the Specialist possesses a proven background in training, selling, and relationship-building. They excel in delivering impactful presentations, facilitating high-energy training sessions, and motivating teams to achieve their goals while advocating for local training and education needs.
What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need
Training and Development Expertise: Ability to design and deliver high-impact training programs, both in-person and digitally, to elevate team performance and customer experience in line with Macy's Beauty Education Program.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively deliver presentations, conduct training sessions, and provide clear guidance to store teams and leadership.
Leadership and Coaching: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coach individuals and teams, fostering a high-performance culture through ongoing development and motivation.
Selling and Service Excellence: Deep understanding of sales and service standards, with the ability to train colleagues in these areas to drive alignment with corporate strategies.
Analytical and Insight-Driven: Ability to assess training effectiveness, monitor performance outcomes, and use insights to inform improvements in training strategies and initiatives.
Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, store leaders, and external vendor partners, ensuring alignment with Macy's Beauty Education strategies.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the beauty industry and trends, with a passion for staying ahead of developments to enhance training and educational offerings.
Project Management: Ability to support and execute key training initiatives, including Seasonal Schools, product launches, and strategic courses, ensuring flawless logistics and facilitation.
eLearning Expertise: Proficiency in navigating eLearning platforms, driving engagement, and addressing opportunities to enhance learning outcomes.
Performance Monitoring and KPIs: Ability to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training impact, customer service, and sales to drive continuous improvement and success.
