Beautician/ Hair Stylist-Spearly

Part-time Day shift, Flexible schedule available

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes resident’s hair and questions resident to determine their hairdressing preference.

• Washes, dyes, tints hair based on residents’ instructions.
• Styles hair by blowing, cutting, trimming and tapering.
• Cleans, shapes and polishes fingernails.
• Makes and confirms hairdressing appointments and coordinates wheelchair transportation for resident through Transportation.

Educational/Vocational Requirements:

• A High School Diploma,
• A valid cosmetology license with at least six months related experience.
• Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting.
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.

Juniper Village at the Spearly Center is a skilled nursing facility specializing in mental and behavioral health so besides the typical alzheimers/dementia diagnosis, we cater to residents with schizophrenia, bipolar, TBI, failed suicide attempts, and more.
