Beach Beverage Attendant – Seasonal
Position Summary
The Beach Beverage Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests enjoying the beach and pool areas of the Shoals Club. This role is ideal for energetic, outgoing individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Beach Beverage Attendants help create memorable seaside experiences by providing friendly service, maintaining cleanliness of beach and pool areas, and ensuring guests receive timely beverage and food service while enjoying the club's luxury amenities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide outstanding hospitality and attentive beverage service to members and guests

Take and deliver beverage and food orders to beach, cabana, and pool areas

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, pool decks, and beach areas

Stock beverages, ice, cups, and service supplies throughout shifts

Assist with opening and closing duties

Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with North Carolina laws

Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff

Uphold Shoals Club service standards and professional appearance guidelines

Create a welcoming, upbeat, and positive environment for members and guests
Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old

Previous hospitality, food & beverage, beach club, or resort experience preferred but not required

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment

Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Weekend and holiday availability required during season
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and carrying trays or supplies

Ability to work outdoors in summer heat, humidity, and coastal weather conditions
