Federal Proposal & Business Development Specialist
This position supports federal business development and proposal efforts by developing compliant, compelling, and well-structured responses to government solicitations. The role requires a strong understanding of the federal acquisition process, FAR compliance, and Section L/M requirements, along with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, persuasive narratives under tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented communicator with experience supporting federal proposals, leveraging market intelligence tools, and operating in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
Federal Acquisition & Compliance
- Support development of compliant proposal responses aligned with FAR and agency requirements
- Interpret and implement RFP instructions, including Section L/M requirements
Proposal Development
- Analyze and synthesize technical, management, and business inputs into clear, persuasive narratives
- Support proposal writing, editing, and coordination in high-tempo proposal environments
- Assist with proposal strategy, win themes, and compliance reviews
Tools & Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, analysis, and basic data visualization
- Experience using federal procurement and research tools (e.g., GovWin, SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, PIEE, OASIS+)

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, English, Marketing, Analytics, IT, or a related field
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in federal government contracting
- Hands-on experience supporting federal BD and proposal development
Security / Screening
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
