Position Summary:
The BCRP Scheduling Specialist I is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the residency program scheduling system and logistics. They will maintain complex call schedules and comply with strict duty hour regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain complex call schedules and comply with strict duty hour regulations.
- Maintain the educational quality of the program to ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Chief residents in regards to appropriate rotations and overall schedule content to maintain ACGME requirements.
- Responsible for the data integrity of the scheduling program, including but not limited to creating rules, adding/monitoring assignments and updating personnel, and creating working views.
- Responsible for maintaining parking passes and appropriate allocation of on-call meal reimbursements per each resident’s schedule.
- Create, run and analyze ad hoc reports as needed to maintain schedule function and accuracy.
- Monitor the request of ATOs for residents prior to approval to make sure no violation of regulations will occur.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:- Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent combination of experience and education.

- Experience implementing, monitoring, and managing complex plans and schedules
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Knowledge of or ability to learn commercial scheduling software programs like Lightning Bolt
