Salary and terms of Employment:

Anticipated Start Date: Upon Hire

District Position (Calendar is 202 days)

Daily Schedule: M-F 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

Salary Range begins at - $70,000, based on experience

Reports to Director of Special Services

Description:

Works collaboratively to provide targeted behavioral support and intervention for students with identified behavioral needs.

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Certified by BACB
  • Licensed in Connecticut
  • Masters degree in Psychology/Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with children with special needs
  • Expertise in the field and knowledge of autism spectrum disorder
  • Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, Functional Behavior Analysis and Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Experience working in public school setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, Verbal Behavior and VB MAPP assessments preferred
  • Able to utilize PMT with appropriate training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with non-behavior analytic providers and team members
