The BCaBA provides behavior-analytic services under BCBA supervision, assisting with assessments, developing and implementing intervention plans, and supervising RBTs and staff.
They support individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges, promoting skill development and reducing maladaptive behaviors.
Key tasks include supporting behavior plans, conducting skill and behavior programming, data collection and analysis, assisting with FBAs, supervising staff, and ensuring treatment fidelity.
They collaborate with families and team members, provide caregiver training, and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications include current BCaBA certification, a relevant bachelor’s degree, experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred, and strong ABA knowledge.
Work involves diverse settings, with physical requirements for extended movement and crisis management. The role operates under BCBA supervision in accordance with BACB guidelines.
