Akkodis is seeking a Battery Characterization Automation Test Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing lab-based device testing and ensuring accurate data validation for battery performance.
Rate Range: $56/Hour to $58/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Battery Characterization Automation Test Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Set up, maintain, and monitor continuous operation of battery test devices in lab environments.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and C/C++ for data collection and analysis.
Execute test cycles, collect results, and validate data quality to ensure accurate battery performance insights.
Manage and update test software and code repositories using Git/GitHub.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in lab setups to ensure smooth test operations.
Document test procedures, updates, and results to support ongoing development and process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in automation testing, lab testing, or embedded systems.
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and Linux/Unix with strong scripting and automation skills.
Experience with Git-based version control and test automation frameworks, with exposure to hardware lab environments or battery systems preferred.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
