Job Summary
Teach Basic Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide courses.
Key Responsibilities
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare course outlines.
- Teach Courses.
- Institute a consistent evaluation process.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information according to FERPA guidelines.
- Manage student conduct according to policy and procedure.
- Support College policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of LPN, RN preferred, with at least two (2) years clinical experience; current license required; in addition to two (2) years long term care experience or experience supervising and teaching CNA's. Formal or informal teaching experience preferred. A formal offer for the position is contingent upon State approval of credentials and experience.
