Bartender Job Description

As a Bartender at La Familia Cortez Restaurants, your goal is to provide service beyond expectations to each and every guest by filling drink orders quickly and efficiently. As a Bartender you will be collecting payments, operating the register and ensuring that the work area is clean and presentable for our Guests. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by other Team Leaders and/or Managers at any time.

Responsibilities

• Guest focused with the ability to create a fun environment;
• Checking for proper identifications from Guest to ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for the purchase of alcohol;
• Maintaining and ordering inventory of liquor, mixes and other bar supplies;
• Anticipating Guest needs and preferences with the ability to make recommendations when needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years working as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant preferred;
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills;
• Must be able to stand for up to four (4) hours at a time;
• Must be able to lift up to forty-fifty (40-50) pounds;
• TABC and Texas Food Handlers Certified.
