Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greets all guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepares and serves beverages following established protocol, and all state and federal liquor laws.
  • Keeps Leads and Food and Beverage Manager aware of any issues that in a timely manner and assists in resolution.
  • Rotates schedule between being behind the bar, working on the beer cart on the golf course and light cooking.
  • Must be efficient in cash handling procedures and maintain a working knowledge of Toast system and its functions including but not limited to credit card and gift card transactions.
  • Makes sure that all daily revenue and server tip reports are reconciled and given to accounting at the end of every day.
  • Ensures that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
  • Responsible for checking all IDs and ensuring only 21+ is served alcohol.
  • Assists Food and Beverage Manager to decorate the bar area for theme weekends.
  • Supports and follows Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy at all times.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Superior customer service skills
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
  • TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) certification or willingness to obtain
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs or more on a regular basis and able to withstand long periods of time on your feet
  • Ability to operate blenders and other equipment safely
  • Ability to function well in a high pace, sometimes high stress environment
  • Comfortable effectively communicating with all levels of guests and staff
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays

  • $13.75 + Tips
