Role Summary:
This position contributes to the success of Think by efficiently providing a high standard of customer service to all patients/customers. This job creates the Think experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, friendly and comfortable environment. The Café hours are 7:45am – 4:15pm M-F.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practicing excellent customer service, preparing drinks and food items for patients throughout building, maintaining bar cleanliness.
- Ordering supplies, keeping bar stocked with merchandise and food items.
- Accurately using POS and proper cash handling techniques.
- Merchandising, sampling, and selling muffins, cookies and other food items.
- Brewing and maintaining coffee air-pots and shuttles in four key areas; ensuring freshness and replenishing supplies in these areas several times per day.
- Bussing and sanitizing tables, chairs, and bar.
- Displaying knowledge of product, menu, and use of equipment by following prescribed recipes and standard barista techniques; continuing education on how to properly operate equipment.
- Preparing and serving coffee, drinks and food items at the Agora Café
- Greeting everyone, making an emotional connection with customers; helping with menu questions.
- Opening and closing the café.
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of barista experience
- Strong customer service background
- Punctual and regular attendance
