Barista / Cashier Caf Olivia
At Caf Olivia, the person behind the bar sets the tone for the entire guest experience. We're looking for a Barista/Cashier who's fast, friendly, and takes real pride in the work from a perfectly pulled shot to a seamless transaction during a packed morning rush.
This is a front-line hospitality role. You'll be the first and last impression for every guest who walks through our doors, and we take that seriously.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests and take orders accurately at the counter and POS
- Prepare hot and cold coffee and espresso beverages to Caf Olivia standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and counter at all times
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
- Support the team during high-volume rushes without sacrificing quality or hospitality
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Restock, rotate product, and assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Prior caf or coffee shop experience preferred; specialty coffee knowledge is a plus
- Cash handling experience
- A positive, guest-first attitude even on the busiest days
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator and reliable team player
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Full availability Monday through Friday required
Compensation & Schedule
- $17 to $28/hour based on tips
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Full availability preferred
