We'll help you learn, support your success, and surround you with people who believe in service, community, respect, and making a meaningful difference every day.Pay Range$15.50 - $17Employment Type & Schedule* Full-Time | Rotating Weekends | 11:00 AM - 7:30PMWhy Join Resthaven?A supportive and mission-driven work cultureOpportunities for growth, leadership, and developmentA chance to make a real impact in the lives of residents every dayNOMI health insurance network with zero co-pay, deductible or co-insurance expensePosition Summary: Prepares beverages and supports meal service for residents and guests, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary dining and bistro/bar environment.Essential Responsibilities* Prepare beverages and garnishes for the bistro/bar.* Set and maintain dining room tables.* Take food orders and deliver service in a timely, organized, and courteous manner.* Anticipate resident needs and offer service options that enhance satisfaction.* Maintain all dining and bistro/bar areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition in accordance with infection control standards, including proper attire and hygiene practices.* Deliver food carts to designated areas and return carts to the kitchen.* Collect and dispose of trash and waste appropriately.* Clean dining areas, bistro/bar spaces, equipment, and workstations.* Wash bar glassware using approved procedures.* Perform other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with sensitivity to residents' diverse needs and abilities.* Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and respect when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and team members.* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.* Ability to build positive and professional working relationships.Education, Training & Experience* High school diploma or GED required.* Previous food service experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or institutional setting preferred.Required Licenses/Certifications* Ability to obtain TIPS or other required beverage service certification.
