General Overview

Bar Support is responsible for supporting the bartender in keeping the bar stocked and clean; makes drinks when needed. Uses hospitality and graciousness in dealing with guests. Performs duties in a pleasant, conscientious, fun, energetic and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Have complete knowledge of products and specifications
• Follow and execute Sunda service standards as outlined in training
• Help promote a safe and clean environment for co-workers and guests
• Control the amount of alcohol served, so that guests do not become intoxicated
• Oversee bar maintenance. Always maintain a clean and organized bar
• Keep bar area supplied in glassware, garnishes, etc
• Provide bartenders with the appropriate spirit/glass/garnish/tool to help them move efficiently and quickly in making drinks
• Provide guests at the bar with the correct and appropriate silverware for their food items
• Clean up any spills/ broken glassware in the bar area
• Further duties not currently listed in this outline may be added at the manager’s discretion

Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 30 pounds
