We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our menu and food safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook grilled dishes, such as burgers, steaks, chicken, and seafood
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe creation
- Strong understanding of food safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent knife skills for food preparation
- Ability to work well within a team
