Job Summary:
We are seeking a Banquet Set Up professional to join our team at Wyndham Indianapolis Airport Hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up banquet rooms and providing support during events. The Banquet Set Up individual will ensure that all equipment and supplies are arranged according to event requirements and assist with the breakdown and clean-up post-events.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in banquet set up or a related field is preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet rooms based on event specifications
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary items
• Assist with food and beverage service during events
• Ensure all equipment is in working order before events
• Assist with the breakdown and clean-up of banquet rooms after events
• Communicate effectively with event planners and catering staff for smooth operations during events

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
