We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Servers to join our “village”. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by delivering top-notch service and creating a positive guest experience. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in setting up banquet rooms and event spaces according to the event plan.
- Ensure all tables, chairs, linens, and decorations are arranged appropriately.
- Verify that all required equipment and supplies are in place.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally.
- Provide prompt and attentive service throughout the event.
- Serve food and beverages in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Handle special dietary requests and accommodate guest preferences.
- Clear tables and banquet rooms efficiently and discreetly.
- Replenish supplies as needed.
- Reset tables for the next service or event.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Communicate guest requests and special instructions to the appropriate personnel.
- Address guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Handle and store food and beverages in accordance with health standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work closely with fellow banquet servers and event staff to ensure a cohesive team effort.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
