Key Responsibilities
- Event Setup & Teardown: Preparing rooms by clothing tables, setting silverware, glassware, and decorations, and cleaning up after the event.
- Service Delivery: Delivering food trays, serving meals (plated or buffet), and refilling beverages.
- Guest Service: Greeting guests, responding to requests, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Table Maintenance: Clearing dirty dishes, glasses, and utensils between courses.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies, including checking guest IDs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and carry heavy trays of food or beverages.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with guests and cooperate with kitchen staff.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring table settings and service meet high quality standards.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in catering, restaurants, or hospitality is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Food safety certification
