We are seeking a highly organized, service-focused professional to lead banquet operations and deliver exceptional event experiences. In this role, you will oversee the coordination, and execution of banquet functions while ensuring a seamless experience for guests, clients, and team members. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality excellence.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee banquet events from setup through teardown
- Work closely with clients, culinary teams, and other departments to ensure event requirements are met
- Supervise banquet staff, including scheduling, training, and performance support
- Ensure proper room setup, service standards, and event presentation
- Monitor event timelines and adjust staffing or logistics as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with leadership to improve banquet service quality and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience in banquet, catering, event operations, or hospitality management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of banquet service standards, event setup, and guest service best practices
- Comfort working flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency with basic computer systems, scheduling tools, or point-of-sale platforms preferred
