We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Banquet Hall Sales & Event Manager to lead our event sales initiatives and deliver exceptional guest experiences. In this role, you will be the driving force behind booking events, developing strategic marketing plans, and ensuring flawless execution of each occasion. Duties

  • Drive the sales process by actively prospecting new clients through networking, outreach, and event marketing strategies to maximize bookings and revenue.
  • Develop customized proposals and contracts that align with client needs while maintaining profitability and adhering to venue policies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, guiding them through event planning, catering options, and venue logistics.
  • Coordinate with catering teams, vendors, and staff to ensure seamless event execution from initial booking through post-event follow-up.
  • Implement upselling techniques to enhance event packages with additional services such as décor, entertainment, or special amenities.
  • Manage all aspects of event planning including timeline creation, setup coordination, and on-site supervision to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Oversee budgeting responsibilities for events, tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation for maximum profitability.
  • Promote the venue through targeted marketing efforts including social media campaigns, promotional events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Manage all social media outreach, and create a meaningful online presence.
  • Maintain detailed records of contracts, client communications, and event details to ensure smooth operations and future reference.

Experience

  • Proven experience in banquet sales, event planning, or hospitality management within hotels, restaurants, or dedicated event venues.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals and upselling additional services effectively.
  • Familiarity with event marketing strategies and experience in executing successful promotional campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to engage clients confidently and coordinate with diverse teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of banquet operations, catering processes, contracts management, and guest services standards.
  • Background in hospitality or restaurant management is highly desirable; hotel experience is a plus.
