    We are looking for a Bankruptcy Specialist in the Memphis area. Hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 am-5pm.

    Details:

    • Performs tasks supporting document processing in compliance with the United States Bankruptcy Court rules
    • Organize documents and coordinate document productions
    • Set up and maintain files
    • Ensure accounts are coded and in proper status to align with bankruptcy and court status
    • Completes proof of claim processes which includes creating, sending and filing claims electronically
    • Complete reaffirmation agreement which includes creating, sending and filing electronically
    • Perform a variety of clerical duties, including answering telephones, performing data entry, and providing support as needed
    Professional Experience/Qualifications:

    • 2 years previous bankruptcy and/or law office experience preferred
    • Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in carrying out responsibilities
    • Efficiently operate a computer and demonstrate PC proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Attention to details
    • Strong knowledge of Next Gen software and United States Bankruptcy Court regulations and standards
    • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
    • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze accounts and records of a complex complaint, detailed and reoccurring nature
    Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
