Job Overview A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law and in good standing in North Carolina and applicable federal bankruptcy courts. This role offers flexibility for remote work.Duties Prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases.Handle objections to Chapter 13 plans and adversary matters.Respond to motions to value and oppositions to objections to claims.Review and interpret legal documents, including deeds of trust, notes, and property titles.Respond to court notifications and inquiries from clients, debtors, and debtors' attorneys.Requirements Minimum of three years of bankruptcy experience representing creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters.Admitted to practice and in good standing in North Carolina and all federal bankruptcy courts.Admission to practice in other states is a plus.Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and conducting case law research.Ability to handle all aspects of creditor representation with minimal supervision.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize a high-volume workload.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.Skills Proficiency in legal research and document review.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Benefits Flexible work-from-home options.Equal Opportunity Employer.Drug-free workplace.Compliance with ADA regulations as applicable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
