Job Details:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes bankruptcy cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide array of bankruptcy-related matters, with a focus on creditors' rights, insolvency, lender, loan workouts, Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and commercial foreclosure. This role requires a deep understanding of bankruptcy law and a strong commitment to client service.

Responsibilities:
1. Represent creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, and advise on creditors' rights.
2. Handle loan workouts, commercial foreclosures, and other insolvency-related matters.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate complex bankruptcy documents and agreements.
4. Engage in strategic planning and manage litigation risks.
5. Attend court hearings and trials, presenting arguments and evidence effectively.
6. Conduct legal research and provide advice on bankruptcy laws and regulations.
7. Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure comprehensive legal support.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with timely and relevant updates about their cases.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the NY bar. NJ admission a plus.
3. Minimum of 2 years' experience in bankruptcy law, with a focus on creditors' rights, insolvency, lender, loan workouts, Chapter 7, Chapter 11, or commercial foreclosure.
4. Proven track record of successfully handling complex bankruptcy cases.
5. Strong litigation skills, with experience in attending court hearings and trials.
6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
7. Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure.
8. Exceptional negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
9. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and other professionals.
10. Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
11. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of professional ethics.
