Job Skills / Requirements

LACOSTA is looking for a Baler Operators and to join our team in Lenexa, KS!

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40hrs/week

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM-1:30 PM
• OVERTIME REQUIRED for the first few weekends during busy season!

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)

• $16.50 / Hour

Job Duties: The Baler Operator is responsible for collecting, transporting, and processing recyclable materials and waste throughout the warehouse.

• Work independently or as part of a janitorial/maintenance team
• Operate ride-on and walk-behind floor scrubbers to clean pit areas, warehouses, and industrial floors (pulling cardboard cages and dumpsters)
• Properly mix, handle, and dispose of cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
• Comply with all safety guidelines, including proper PPE usage

Requirements:

• Pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to work in industrial or warehouse environments
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs independently.
• Must wear LACOSTA provided uniform and PPE, as well as your own steel-toed shoes/boots while working.
• Remove all jewelry and accessories.
