Description
The Baker role is essential to delivering the high-quality, handcrafted bread that anchors our bakery’s mission and reputation. This position is responsible for proofing and baking each product with precision, consistency, and an intuitive understanding of timing, temperature, and technique. By maintaining an exact production pace and close attention to detail, the Baker ensures that every loaf meets our standards from oven to customer. Because the final bake defines each product’s quality, this role plays a critical part in customer satisfaction, trust, and overall bakery success.

Education & Experience
Previous customer service experience is highly preferred. Dough experience unnecessary; position will receive on-the-job training. Home or hobby bakers are welcome to apply!
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry loads of 60 pounds (the weight of a bushel of wheat) and perform other physically strenuous mixing tasks throughout the production shift, with or without accommodation.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a regular, part-time and/or full-time, non-exempt role. Days and hours will vary according to business needs.
