• Number of Beds - 40
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift 1 Charge Nurse/ 10 staff/bedside nurses/4 PCTs/1 Unit Secretary
  • Night Shift 1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/3 PCTs
• Patient Ratios 1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio
• Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ ablation.
• Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipments, bladder scanner;
• EMR - Cerner

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Stepdown or progressive care experience
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix; etc.

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin).
• Relief charge experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• BLS, ACLS

Floating Area(s):

• All MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding.

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color/Attire - all white or all navy blue or white top and navy blue pants.

• Will be discussed during orientation

Weekends and On call(if any)

• Every other weekend
