Back Office Supervisor
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Back Office Supervisor
Work location: 8390 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway - Suite 1000 Dallas, TX 75243
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm)

What You Will Do
Supervises the workflow and workload of the team to ensure efficiency.
Maintains staff schedules and adjusts schedules according to the volume needs of the department.
Ensures that staff is current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications and other annual training.
Monitors staff's time and attendance consistent with THR policies.
Assists Practice Manager with employee performance initiatives to include check ins.
Provides input on employee discipline, coaching and improvement plans with the manager.
Works with employees to correct deficiencies in performance or tasks.
Handles employee complaints and grievances in collaboration with Practice Manager.
Assists Practice Manager with coordination of scheduling of clinical operations to ensure proper coverage of patient appointments and out-of-office calls.
Ensures work environment complies with regulatory, licensure, compliance and accreditation requirements by monitoring the work setting on an ongoing basis to identify deficiencies, risk, and opportunities for improvement.
Serves as the first point of contact for patient and external customer complaints for clinical operations concerns and feedback.
Responsible for investigating all complaints relating to front office practice operations and routes privacy and/or Compliance complaints/issues.
Escalates reoccurring problems as needed.
Serves as a Medical Records Custodian.
Reviews authorizations and 3rd party chart review requests for validity.
Ensures required Protected Health Information disclosures are tracked.
Reports all confirmed or suspected privacy breaches, patient complaints regarding privacy to the Entity Safety Officer or Compliance in timely manner.
Enforces and monitors corrective action plans.
May participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
Ensures exam rooms are prepared, cleaned and instruments are sterilized.
Maintains equipment & disposes of contaminated items according to protocol.
Perform other duties as assigned.
