We combine top-tier expertise, customer-first service, and modern technology to deliver fast, professional solutions when property damage happens.

We’re seeking an energetic, people-oriented Marketing Representative with a passion for business, relationship-building, and growth. Whether you have professional or personal experience connecting with others, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on networking and wants to make a meaningful impact in the business world.

Position Summary

As a B2B Marketing Representative, you’ll represent Barex to local businesses, property managers, realtors, insurance agents, and community leaders. Your goal is to build strong relationships, educate clients, and grow our customer network throughout the DMV area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background or strong interest in sales, marketing, communications, or business development — including recent college graduates looking to start a rewarding career with long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain meaningful connections with property managers, real estate offices, insurance agencies, and local business professionals.

  • Drive Growth: Generate new business opportunities through networking, meetings, local events, and consistent follow-ups.

  • Educate Clients: Present Barex’s services and benefits through meetings, lunch-and-learns, or online presentations.

  • Collaborate with Operations: Partner with the operations and project teams to ensure smooth communication from lead intake to job completion.

  • Manage Territory: Track outreach activity, maintain contact lists, and update CRM (Copper or similar).

  • Support Marketing Efforts: Assist with local campaigns, brand visibility initiatives, sponsorships, and content efforts.

  • Report and Follow-Up: Prepare weekly progress reports, share updates during meetings, and help the team identify new partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing degree) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or customer service — entry-level applicants with strong interpersonal skills encouraged to apply.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Energetic personality and genuine interest in building relationships.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client visits.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary negotiable depending on experience

  • Commission and quarterly performance bonuses

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid time off and paid holidays

  • Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle for travel

  • Career growth and mentorship opportunities

  • Positive, team-driven environment focused on personal and professional development
