We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Remote Contract B2B Collections Specialist to manage a portfolio of commercial accounts and drive timely collections of outstanding receivables. This role is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships while reducing delinquency and improving overall cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of business (B2B) accounts and oversee the full collections lifecycle
Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to secure payment on past-due invoices
Review aging reports to prioritize collection efforts and reduce outstanding balances
Investigate and resolve billing issues, discrepancies, short pays, and disputes
Negotiate payment plans and collaborate with clients to ensure timely resolution
Maintain accurate documentation of collection activity, account status, and payment commitments
Partner with internal teams (billing, sales, customer service) to resolve account issues
Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate application of payments
Provide regular reporting on collections status, trends, and risks
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts receivable or B2B collections experience and comfortable working REMOTE
Strong understanding of AR processes, aging, and cash application
Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet collection targets
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Pay Details: $26.00 to $31.00 per hour
