A bit about us:Our client is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Architect & Technical Lead to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of a modern Azure cloud platform supporting a large-scale enterprise modernization initiative. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, building scalable cloud platforms, and driving cloud adoption through Infrastructure as Code and automation.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise designing Azure environments, implementing Kubernetes-based platforms, modernizing CI/CD pipelines, and leading cloud migration efforts across enterprise environments. This individual will serve as the technical leader for cloud architecture decisions while remaining hands-on throughout the implementation.

Job DetailsResponsibilities
Architect, build, and deploy enterprise Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Design and implement secure Azure networking, identity, and cloud governance best practices.
Build and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments supporting containerized applications.
Deploy and configure Azure services including Azure Container Registry (ACR), Key Vault, storage services, and supporting cloud resources.
Lead migration and replication strategies between cloud platforms while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
Design resilient traffic routing and failover solutions supporting business continuity objectives.
Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to modernize deployment processes and cloud-native application architecture.
Produce reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and technical documentation.
Serve as the technical lead, providing architecture guidance, mentoring engineers, and driving best practices throughout the engagement.
Support proof-of-concept initiatives to validate cloud architecture and platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering experience.
Extensive experience architecting and deploying Microsoft Azure environments.
Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience designing and administering Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity, and cloud governance.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or comparable DevOps platforms.
Strong understanding of container technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience designing highly available, scalable, and disaster recovery focused cloud environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience implementing API management platforms such as Apigee Hybrid.
Knowledge of cloud data migration and replication strategies.
Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
Consulting or enterprise transformation experience is highly desirable.
