Role Impact
The Azure Cloud Architect will design and implement secure, scalable, highly available Microsoft Azure solutions across multi-subscription and multi-region enterprise environments. This role combines deep Azure architecture expertise with hands-on Terraform Enterprise and CI/CD automation experience to standardize cloud infrastructure delivery, governance, and compliance. The position supports enterprise-grade cloud modernization initiatives within regulated environments, including banking-focused infrastructure standards and audit requirements.
Requirements
  • 7+ years Microsoft Azure cloud architecture experience across multi-subscription environments
  • 7+ years Terraform Enterprise experience building reusable Infrastructure as Code modules
  • Strong CI/CD automation experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins
Responsibilities
  • Design Azure cloud architectures supporting scalability, resiliency, security, and governance standards
  • Build reusable Terraform modules supporting environment promotion, remote state management, and policy enforcement
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning with approvals, testing, and quality gates
  • Architect Azure database solutions including Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis
  • Configure Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, UDRs, Private Link, DNS, ExpressRoute, and VPN connectivity
  • Enforce enterprise security controls including RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, encryption, monitoring, and compliance baselines.
