Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Azure Cloud Architect with hands-on development experience to lead cloud infrastructure strategy, design, and delivery. The ideal candidate will bring deep Azure expertise, strong architectural thinking, and the ability to implement enterprise-grade solutions using Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices. This role is critical for driving innovation and ensuring robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and platform services.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform as a primary tool.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, XLR, AWS CodePipeline, and GitHub Actions.
- Establish and manage Azure landing zones, governance models, and management groups.
- Implement identity and access management using Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, PIM, and managed identities.
- Architect secure solutions using Zero Trust principles, Azure Defender, and Azure Key Vault.
- Design and manage Azure networking, including hub-spoke VNETs, subnets, NSGs, UDRs, and private connectivity.
- Ensure observability and resilience through Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and high availability strategies.
- Work with cloud database platforms like PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB, ensuring security and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-facing solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, with a focus on Azure.
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (mandatory).
- Strong experience with Azure architecture, including compute, storage, networking, and platform services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure networking and private connectivity solutions.
- Expertise in identity and security management, including Azure AD and Zero Trust principles.
- Experience with cloud database platforms, particularly PostgreSQL (mandatory).
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to own end-to-end architecture, from design to hands-on implementation.
- Experience working in regulated financial services environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and FinOps practices (preferred).
