Position Overview:

The Center for Global Engagement is seeking candidates for a Social Media/Public Relations Assistant. Are you a storyteller with a knack for social media and a passion for building brands? We are looking for a creative, energetic individual to join our team and help us manage our social media presence, engage with our community, and create content that resonates with TCNJ student body.

Responsibilities: USE BULLETS

  • Content Creation: Create flyers and digital signage, edit student testimonials, craft newsletters, and other campus communications.

  • Social Media Support: Assist in managing official channels (Instagram, Facebook LinkedIn, etc.) by planning & scheduling posts and engaging with followers.

  • Event Promotion: Help plan, promote and execute on-campus including in person coverage and highlights.

  • Collaborations/ Relations: Update and maintain relationships with campus partners and assist in "pitching" or "collabing" on stories & other content.

  • Administrative Support: Assist with basic research, data entry for campaign analytics, and organizing digital assets (photos/videos).

Required Qualifications: USE BULLETS

  • Ability to handle multiple "moving parts" and meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional command of grammar and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
