Job Title: AWS Systems Analyst
Location: Tampa, FL 33607

Position Summary

The Systems Analyst develops applications, implements software packages, integrates applications, and provides 24x7 application support.
Collaborates on all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a focus on application design, development, and implementation.
Utilizes appropriate development tools and technologies in keeping with the IT architecture.

Note: Candidates must have hands-on, production-level experience with AWS Connect, including implementation, development, configuration, and Python programming.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead complex software development projects.
Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and Business Partners to develop software specifications.
Lead the selection and implementation of software packages requiring in-depth configuration and integration.
Lead the integration of applications with complex interfaces.
Develop, implement, and support enterprise applications throughout the SDLC.
Produce technical documentation, estimates, and required SDLC deliverables.
Provide 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for business-critical applications.
Coordinate application maintenance activities and release schedules.
Function as Technical Lead on projects and oversee technical deliverables.
Participate in application development, support, and project teams.
Serve as a subject matter expert within the technical discipline and relevant business areas.
Mentor and guide junior team members while driving standard development practices and process improvements.

Required Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline.
Relevant experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Experience

Required: 10 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
Preferred: 12 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.

Preferred Certifications

Two or more professional certifications in specific job-related disciplines.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Expert knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies.
Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Experience developing project plans and supporting project scheduling and resource management.
Ability to create and review technical design specifications.
Knowledge of development tools and technologies supporting the Information Technology Architecture.
Expert with Microsoft Office Suite.
Drives continuous process improvement for SDLC, maintenance, application support, and technology architecture.
