We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in AWS cloud services, infrastructure automation, and enterprise cloud migration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, Terraform, and Oracle Exadata on AWS, along with a strong background in cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, and hybrid cloud environments.

This role will be responsible for designing, building, migrating, and supporting scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure while collaborating with application, database, networking, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using AWS best practices.
  • Build and support cloud-native environments using Amazon EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, Load Balancers, and AWS Storage Services.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives, including rehost, replatform, and modernization strategies.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including modules, workspaces, and remote state management.
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads on Amazon EKS.
  • Configure and administer AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT Gateways, security groups, and load balancers.
  • Manage AWS storage solutions including S3, EBS, EFS, and FSx, implementing lifecycle, backup, and disaster recovery policies.
  • Support integration with Oracle Exadata on AWS and Client SQL Server environments.
  • Collaborate with application teams supporting Java, .NET, and TIBCO ESB workloads during cloud migration.
  • Administer Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) and Windows Server (2016 2025) systems.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation using Git-based workflows.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security using cloud observability tools.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, operating system, and cloud platform issues.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud governance, security policies, tagging standards, IAM, and cost optimization practices.
  • Review High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and translate them into production-ready infrastructure.

Required Skills

  • 8 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • AWS EC2

    • Elastic Load Balancing (ELB/ALB/NLB)
    • S3
    • EBS
    • EFS

  • Expertise in Terraform, including modules, workspaces, and state management.

  • Experience with AWS migration projects and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience administering Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server.
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata on AWS and SQL Server integration.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud networking and infrastructure architecture.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, networking, and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, governance, compliance, and cost optimization.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS Solutions Architect or AWS SysOps Administrator Certification.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure as Code governance.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Java, .NET, or TIBCO ESB applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 10+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
