Title:AWS Cloud Architect
Location: Lebanon, NJ (No Remote - 4 days in office)

Pay Rate - $59/hr (all Inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud services and infrastructure, with a focus on AWS. This role requires a professional who is ready to relocate to our client location on day one and is committed to driving cloud architecture excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12 to 15 years of overall experience in Infrastructure and Cloud services
  • 7 years of experience in a Cloud Architect role predominantly on AWS
  • Strong expertise in Terraform (module design, standardization)
  • Deep hands-on experience with EKS / Kubernetes operations & architecture
  • Experience with pipeline build deployment troubleshooting (GitHub / Jenkins / Harness Pipeline models)
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
  • Experience with AWS DevOps Automation
  • Knowledge of incident management, RCA, and reliability engineering practices

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture decisions for AWS workloads aligned to well-architected principles
  • Define and enforce cloud patterns, landing zones, and guardrails across accounts
  • Own architecture review process and cloud service onboarding framework
  • Establish and run centralized SRE function supporting all value streams
  • Drive reliability engineering practices: SLOs, SLAs, error budgets
  • Design enterprise observability strategy (logs, metrics, traces, alerts)
  • Enable proactive detection, alert rationalization, and auto-remediation
