Akkodis is seeking an AWS AI Platform Engineer for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate with experience designing and implementing enterprise AI platforms, RAG architectures, and cloud-native AI solutions to accelerate AI adoption and business innovation.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AWS AI Platform Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise AI platforms, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, and Agentic AI applications using AWS services.

• Architect and integrate AI solutions leveraging Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, vector databases, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge repositories.

• Develop scalable cloud-native AI architectures and support infrastructure automation using AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD best practices.

• Collaborate with cloud, security, networking, data engineering, and application teams to onboard and deploy AI use cases across the enterprise.

• Establish AI governance, security controls, monitoring, guardrails, and Responsible AI practices to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

• Build reusable AI integration frameworks, APIs, and multi-agent workflows while mentoring teams and driving enterprise AI adoption and innovation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 10-15 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or related disciplines, including 4+ years in AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.

• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, RAG architectures, AI Agents, LangChain/LangGraph, and enterprise AI platform development.

• Proven experience designing scalable AI integrations, implementing AI governance and security controls, and leading cross-functional AI initiatives in large enterprise environments.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
