Avionics Technician

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Job Type: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts (Day/Night Rotation, Weekends Included)

STS Technical Services is actively hiring Avionics Technicians in Tucson, Arizona. This is a hands-on opportunity to join a skilled maintenance team supporting corporate jets, commercial aircraft, and military platforms. Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance, and repair of avionics systems on various aircraft platforms
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues and execute technical repairs
• Communicate maintenance actions effectively in verbal and written formats
• Document all work in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Support isochronal, depot-level, or phase inspections for military aircraft (when applicable)
• Work collaboratively within a high-paced MRO environment and meet shift requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of avionics maintenance experience, or substantiated equivalent
• FAA Airframe License required
• Must provide your own tools and maintain proper inventory control
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with corporate jets or commercial aircraft
• Military aircraft maintenance background (Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections)
• GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certification
• Graduate of an Avionics or Electrical Aircraft Technical School or equivalent military training
