Avionics Installer IV

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Installer IV with a minimum of four years of experience in avionics/electronic in aviation. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams. As an Avionics Installer IV, you will lead, support, and assist technicians in performing avionics installations, fabricating wire harnesses, and conducting functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provide work direction to technicians and ensure completion of tasks within the allotted time frame.
  • Coordinate with and assist other departments to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft.
  • Install, modify, and fabricate wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.
  • Train other team members in associated work assignments and contribute to the development of employees and techniques.
  • Assist Engineering in resolving problems and make repairs per engineering direction.
  • Maintain required logs and records ensuring work meets applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Enforce the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
  • Check all work, including that of other team members, to ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
Essential Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Four years of experience in avionics/electronic in aviation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer keyboard skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of company policies, inspection procedures, and process specifications.
  • Ability to move to new tasks with minimal impact on established goals and schedule.
  • Experience in military aviation is highly preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.19 - $32.19/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
