You will be responsible for designing, building, testing and improving reliable space-ready components. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on spacecraft.ResponsibilitiesOwn avionics system-level design & interfaces and make system-level tradesPrototype, design, bring up and validate flight computers, communication systems, and electronics for power systems and ADCSEstablish best practices and tooling for electrical engineering designDevelop in-house avionics test infrastructure - flatsat, GPS sim, power sim, comms sim, etc.Design and execute avionics qualification testing for vibration, shock, thermal and thermal vacuum environments and own your hardware into flight operationIdeal QualificationsYou've designed and validated PCBAs for the space environment or similar high performance environments/vehiclesYou've owned multiple high-reliability electronics subsystems from concept to deploymentYou can succeed with a high level of autonomyYou've iterated on requirements and architecture to achieve an optimal design in a highly constrained trade spaceYou have experience hacking and crawling through electronics systems to troubleshoot issuesEven if you don't meet 100% of the above qualifications, we are likely still interested in hearing from you.
