The AV Technician is responsible for the set-up, operation and maintenance of the audio and visual equipment for events.
Duties:
- Installation and operation of sound systems, lighting and video projects.
- Conduct tests to ensure functionality of audio-visual equipment to include TV’s, LCD displays, DVD players, video projectors, cameras, audio recorders, sound systems, and microcomputers.
- Troubleshoot and assist with repairs of high-tech electronic equipment.
- Maintain equipment inventory.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Nevada driver’s license that has been active for at least one year.
- Must be knowledgeable of audio, video systems and computers (Mac and PC).
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time.
