Responsibilities
• Partner with AV architects to translate design standards into site-specific implementations, validating room requirements and hardware compatibility across multiple locations
• Execute on-site installation and configuration of comprehensive AV systems including Zoom Rooms, displays, DSPs, microphones, cameras, and control interfaces
• Develop and implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure optimal audio/video performance, content sharing capabilities, and automation functionality
• Provide critical on-site support during deployment phases, resolving technical issues in real-time and ensuring minimal business disruption
• Create detailed technical documentation including as-built diagrams, wiring schematics, device inventories, and configuration backups
• Collaborate with network engineering teams to implement proper VLAN assignments, QoS settings, and connectivity validation for optimal performance
Requirements
• 4+ years of hands-on AV engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in conference room technologies
• Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting Zoom Rooms or equivalent video conferencing platforms
• Strong technical knowledge of audio DSPs, microphone systems, speakers, cameras, and control interfaces
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, riser diagrams, and AV schematics with attention to detail
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including contractors, integrators, and facilities personnel
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex audiovisual issues efficiently
