Automotive Technician *SIGN ON BONUS!*

CNY Auto seeks experienced Automotive Technicians to work at one of the most successful Used Car dealerships in Syracuse, NY.

We are looking for the right individuals to join our team. Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm. NO WEEKENDS! Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience preferred. Must have State Inspector License.

Responsibilities

--Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

--Performs various diagnosis/repairs to brake, tire, electrical, and engine components

--Ensures that all serviced vehicles are road worthy

--Ensures that customers’ cars are kept clean when returned to customer

--Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.

--Keep shop area neat and clean

--Any other service-related duties

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have your own tools (Minimum basic tools)
• Must be a team player and able to maintain a positive working attitude and environment
• Ability to be customer focused and committed with providing great customer service
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• A.S.E Certification is a Plus
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check

MAJOR INCENTIVES:

SIGN-ON BONUS up to $6,000* (based on experience) - to be paid in 6 monthly installments

Semi-Annual Performance Bonus - up to 10% of yearly (pay outs in June and December)

401K Plan - 4% Employee contribution/2% Employer contribution

Paid travel to factory training.
